Sales Analysis Codes can be selected when creating a stock item and used for reporting purposes. Admin users can learn how to add, edit, archive and un-archive Sales Analysis Codes within Omono by following the simple steps below.

Adding a new Sales Analysis Code

  1. Navigate to Settings by clicking on your name at the top right of the screen and selecting the settings option.

  2. Select App using the navigation bar on the left.

  3. Click on Sales Analysis Codes.

  4. Enter the Sales Analysis Code into the text field at the bottom of the modal, optionally select using the drop-down menu a default commodity code which is automatically used in the absence of a commodity code being selected against a stock item and click ✅ to save.


Editing a Sales Analysis Code

If you would like to edit the name of an existing Sales Analysis Code or amend the default commodity code please follow these steps. Please note any changes will update all records, past and present, depending upon reasoning consider archiving and creating a new code.

  1. Navigate to Settings by clicking on your name at the top right of the screen and selecting the settings option.

  2. Select App using the navigation bar on the left.

  3. Click on Sales Analysis Codes.

  4. Click the ✏️ icon next to the Sales Analysis Code you wish to edit.

  5. Edit the Sales Analysis Code in the text field and/or change the default commodity code using the drop-down menu at the bottom of the modal and click ✅ to save.


Archiving a Sales Analysis Code

Please follow these steps if you would like to archive a Sales Analysis Code. Please note this will not remove the Sales Analysis Code from any existing records using this option.

  1. Navigate to Settings by clicking on your name at the top right of the screen and selecting the settings option.

  2. Select App using the navigation bar on the left.

  3. Click on Sales Analysis Codes.

  4. Click the ✏️ icon next to the Sales Analysis Code you wish to archive.

  5. Click the 🗃 icon next to the text fields.


Un-Archiving a Sales Analysis

If you would like to reinstate an archived Sales Analysis Code please follow these steps.

  1. Navigate to Settings by clicking on your name at the top right of the screen and selecting the settings option.

  2. Select App using the navigation bar on the left.

  3. Click on Sales Analysis Codes.

  4. Select the Show Archived tick-box.

  5. Click the 🗃 icon next to the Sales Analysis Code you wish to re-activate.
