Upload, rename, delete and pin documents

Use Omono as your online filing system, unlimited centralised cloud space allows you to manage and share documents and files associated with customers, suppliers, quotes, orders and stock items.

Learn how to upload, rename, delete and un-pin documents. You can upload any document or file type up to a file size of 20MB. There are a few ways in which you can do this, either using drag and drop, direct upload or via Dropbox.

It couldn't be easier to upload documents and files into Omono, you can attach files to the following records - Companies, Sales Quotes, Sales Orders, Credit Notes, Purchase Orders and Stock Items.

Uploading Documents

Drag & Drop

  1. Navigate to the record you where wish to attach a file or document.

  2. Drag and drop your file onto the record.

  3. Once your file has uploaded you will be to find it by clicking on Documents located in the toolbar.

Direct Upload

  1. Navigate to the record where you wish to attach a file or document.

  2. Click on Documents located in the toolbar.

  3. Click on the ➕ icon at the top of the modal.

  4. Select your document or file.

  5. Once your file has upload it will be displayed in Documents.

Dropbox Integration

  1. Navigate to the record where you wish to attach a file or document.

  2. Click on Documents located in the toolbar.

  3. Click on the Dropbox logo icon at the top of the modal.

  4. If you aren't logged into Dropbox, login now.

  5. Select your document or file.

  6. Once your file has upload it will be displayed in Documents.


Renaming Documents

  1. Navigate to the record where you wish to rename a file or document.

  2. Click on Documents located in the toolbar.

  3. Click on the ✏️ icon at the top of the modal.

  4. Rename the file and click ✅ at the top of the modal to save.


Deleting Documents

  1. Navigate to the record where you wish to delete a file or document.

  2. Click on Documents located in the toolbar.

  3. Click on the ✏️ icon at the top of the modal.

  4. Click on the 🗑 and click Delete Document to confirm.


Un-Pin Documents

All documents uploaded are pinned by default making them easily available throughout the system, if you want to un-pin a document and hide it please follow these steps to do so.

  1. Navigate to the record where you wish to pin a file or document.

  2. Click on Documents located in the toolbar.

  3. Click the ✏️ icon at the top of the modal.

  4. Click the ✅ next to the document you wish to un-pin so it is no longer selected and click ✅ at the top of the modal to save.
