Tax Rates can be selected for customers and suppliers and at individual line item level on sales quotes, sales orders, credit notes and purchase orders. Admin users can learn how to add, edit, archive and un-archive Tax Rates within Omono by following the simple steps below.
Adding a new Tax Rate
Navigate to Settings by clicking on your name at the top right of the screen and selecting the settings option.
Select App using the navigation bar on the left.
Click on Tax Rates.
Enter the Tax Rate name and percentage (typical settings for a UK company are detailed in the table below) into the text fields at the bottom of the modal and click ✅ to save.

Editing a Tax Rate
If you would like to edit the name and/or percentage of an existing Tax Rate please follow these steps. The Tax Rate percentage can only be edited if it has not been selected for use anywhere in the app.
Navigate to Settings by clicking on your name at the top right of the screen and selecting the settings option.
Select App using the navigation bar on the left.
Click on Tax Rates.
Click the ✏️ icon next to the Tax Rate you wish to edit.
Edit the Tax Rate name and/or percentage in the text fields at the bottom of the modal and click ✅ to save.
Archiving a Tax Rate
Please follow these steps if you would like to archive a Tax Rate. Please note this will not remove the Tax Rate from any existing customer or supplier records, or any active sales quotes, sales orders, credit notes or purchase orders.
Navigate to Settings by clicking on your name at the top right of the screen and selecting the settings option.
Select App using the navigation bar on the left.
Click on Tax Rates.
Click the ✏️ icon next to the Tax Rate you wish to archive.
Click the 🗃 icon next to the text fields.
Un-Archiving a Tax Rate
If you would like to reinstate an archived Tax Rate please follow these steps.
Navigate to Settings by clicking on your name at the top right of the screen and selecting the settings option.
Select App using the navigation bar on the left.
Click on Tax Rates.
Select the Show Archived tick-box.
Click the 🗃 icon next to the Tax Rate you wish to re-activate.
