Industries can be selected for customers and suppliers within the Companies module and used to filter reports. Admin users can learn how to add, edit, archive and un-archive Industries within Omono by following the simple steps below.
Adding a new Industry
Navigate to Settings by clicking on your name at the top right of the screen and selecting the settings option.
Select App using the navigation bar on the left.
Click on Industries.
Enter the Industry name into the text field at the bottom of the modal and click ✅ to save.
Editing an Industry
If you would like to edit the name of an existing Industry please follow these steps. Please note any changes will update all records, past and present, depending upon reasoning consider archiving and creating a new Industry.
Navigate to Settings by clicking on your name at the top right of the screen and selecting the settings option.
Select App using the navigation bar on the left.
Click on Industries.
Click the ✏️ icon next to the industry you wish to edit.
Edit the Industry name in the text field at the bottom of the modal and click ✅ to save.
Archiving an Industry
Please follow these steps if you would like to archive an Industry. Please note this will not remove the Industry from any existing records using this selection.
Navigate to Settings by clicking on your name at the top right of the screen and selecting the settings option.
Select App using the navigation bar on the left.
Click on Industries.
Click the ✏️ icon next to the Industry you wish to archive.
Click the 🗃 icon next to the text field.
Un-Archiving an Industry
If you would like to reinstate an archived Industry please follow these steps.
Navigate to Settings by clicking on your name at the top right of the screen and selecting the settings option.
Select App using the navigation bar on the left.
Click on Industries.
Select the Show Archived tick-box.
Click the 🗃 icon next to the Industry you wish to re-activate.
