These reports sit under the Stock chip in the Reports catalogue. Values marked (base) are in your base currency. See Reports for how to run, filter and export a report.
Stock Valuation
Titled Stock Valuation Report on the page. Tiles show the Total Stock Items count and the Total Value of every row that matches the filters, across all pages of the table.
Columns: Part No, Title, Warehouse, Location, Qty In Stock, Last Cost (base) and Valuation (base). With Include WIP ticked, three more appear: WIP Qty (quantities picked onto dispatches not yet shipped), WIP Valuation (base) and Total Valuation (base).
See Stock costing and valuation for every filter, for how Omono works out Last Cost, and for how assemblies are valued.
Stock Movement
How much of each item moved in each period, by movement type. See Stock levels, stocktakes and reordering for what each movement type means.
Filter | What it does |
Date Range | Defaults to This Month. |
Part No, Title | Text searches. |
Stock Type | Assembly and Stock, both ticked by default. Never-diminishing items are never included. |
Warehouse, Sales Analysis, Purchase Analysis | Narrow the items. |
Combine Consumed and Shipped | Adds components consumed on sales dispatches into the shipped figures. The Consumed columns go and the shipped columns are headed Shipped + Consumed. |
The chart shows each movement type per period. Columns: Part No, Title, Stock Type, Warehouse, Purchase Analysis, Sales Analysis, Current Stock Level, a Total column for each of Received, Shipped, Consumed, Built, Consumed by Build and Adjusted, then one column per movement type for each period (periods follow the rule in Reports). Adjusted is the change applied by each stocktake, dated when it was saved, and the only type that can be negative. Shipped and Consumed are dated by the dispatch's invoice date, so stock picked but not yet invoiced is not counted. Only items with a movement in the range appear.
Stock Sold
How much of each item was sold in each period, as ordered or as invoiced. Basis decides which.
Filter | What it does |
Basis | Ordered (SO Date), the default, counts the quantity on sales order lines in the period the order was raised. Invoiced (Invoice Date) counts the quantity dispatched, in the period the dispatch was invoiced. |
Date Range | The order date, or the invoice date on the invoiced basis. Defaults to This Month. |
SO Status | Draft, Active, Complete and On Hold are ticked by default. Active includes call-off orders. |
Customer, Account Manager, Customer Division, Order Division | Narrow the orders. |
Part No, Title | Text searches. |
Stock Type | Assembly, Stock and Never Diminishing, all ticked by default. |
Warehouse, Sales Analysis, Purchase Analysis | Narrow the items. |
Include BOM Component Usage | Adds the components used inside assemblies (component quantity times assembly quantity; on the invoiced basis, the quantity on the invoiced dispatch). |
Show Items With No Sales | Adds a row for every stock item, not only the ones sold. This can be a very large report. |
Exclude Archived Stock | Hides archived items. |
The chart shows Sold and, with BOM usage on, Used in Assemblies per period. Columns: Part No, Title, Stock Type, Warehouse, Purchase Analysis, Sales Analysis, Archived, Current Stock Level, Total Sold, then a Sold column per period. With Include BOM Component Usage ticked, Total Used in Assemblies and Total Combined are added, and each period also gets an Assemblies and a Total column.
The two bases answer different questions, so their totals do not reconcile: Ordered includes orders not yet invoiced, or never to be; Invoiced counts only what has been invoiced, whenever it was ordered. A dispatch gets its invoice date when it ships, so dispatches still in the workflow are not counted. SO Status works on both bases; on the invoiced basis it matches the order the dispatch belongs to.
Stock Demand
What each normal stock item is still needed for across the open order book (orders that are On Order, On Order - Call Off or On Hold), and whether you have it. Also on the Purchasing chip. No date range. Filters: Search (part number or title) and Net Shortfall Only (items you still need to buy after counting what is on order).
Columns: Part No, Total Required, Direct (line quantity less what has been picked), For BOMs (components needed for assemblies still to be built, less components already picked), In Stock, On Order, Shortfall (before on-order), Net Shortfall and Orders. Hover over the orders count for a Demand By Order panel listing each order with Order, Customer, Required, Direct and BOM quantities. An order on hold carries an On Hold tag and still counts, because it is still going to ship; the Excel export includes an On Hold column.
Reorder Suggestions
Items that need ordering, with a suggested quantity, supplier and cost, and a way to raise draft purchase orders from the list. Open it from Reports or the Reorder Suggestions button on the Stock screen. Also on the Purchasing chip. No date range.
An item is listed when its In Stock is below its Allocated quantity or its Minimum Stock Level. Assemblies are built, not bought, so they are not listed, although the Stock screen's Needs Ordering count includes them. Archived and never-diminishing items are never listed.
Filter | What it does |
Search | Part number, title, supplier name or supplier part number. |
Status | All, Short For Orders, Out Of Stock, Below Minimum or Covered By On Order. The table below explains each one. |
Warehouse | One warehouse. |
Has Supplier | All, Only With Supplier or Needs A Supplier. |
Supplier | One supplier. |
Status
Status | Meaning |
Short For Orders | Orders need more than you have, even counting stock on order. |
Out Of Stock | Nothing on the shelf and an order is still needed. |
Below Minimum | Under the minimum level, even counting stock on order. |
Covered By On Order | Flagged, but purchase orders already on order will cover it. Nothing to order. |
Columns
Raise PO (tick box), Item, Status, Warehouse, In Stock, Allocated, Shortfall, On Order, Min Level, Suggested Order, Supplier, Lead Time (Days), Unit Cost (base) and Estimated Cost (base).
Suggested Order is what stock on order does not cover, lifted to the item's minimum order quantity; a lifted figure carries an MOQ tag.
Supplier shows how the supplier was chosen: Preferred (marked preferred on the item), 1st Listed (the first supplier on the item), Last Delivery (the item has no suppliers, so the supplier of its last received delivery is used) or Chosen (you chose it here). An Archived tag means that supplier cannot be ordered from. When the item has other suppliers, the source tag says how many; hover over it to see them with their part numbers, lead times and prices.
Lead Time (Days) is the lead time on the supplier entry, or the average measured from that supplier's deliveries over the last twelve months.
Unit Cost is the supplier's listed price in base currency, or the item's own cost with an Est. tag when the supplier has no price.
The Excel export adds columns the screen does not show, including Cost Basis (supplier price or stock cost) and Lead Time Source (stated or measured).
Choosing a different supplier
Click Change on the row (or Choose supplier when the row has none). The Choose Supplier form opens and lists the item's known suppliers with Part #, Lead Time (Days) and Unit Cost.
Click Choose next to a listed supplier. For any other supplier, type its name or account number in the search box, pick it from the list, then click Choose.
You can also add that new supplier to the stock item. Tick Save To This Stock Item's Suppliers and fill in Supplier Part #, Lead Time (Days) and Price (all three are needed). Tick Set As Preferred if you want, then click Choose & Save.
The row reprices to the chosen supplier's price. A supplier that was not on the item when you opened the report, including one you have just saved to it, is priced at the item's own cost with an Est. tag; the draft purchase order still uses the price you saved.
Raising purchase orders
Tick Raise PO on each item you want to order. The box is greyed out when the item has no supplier, its supplier is archived, or there is nothing to order; hover over it to see which. The bar above the table shows how many items and suppliers you have ticked and the estimated cost.
Click Raise Purchase Orders. The form lists the ticked items by supplier. Its footer shows the number of lines, the number of draft purchase orders and the estimated total.
Choose the Deliver To address (one of your own) and adjust the Quantity on any line.
Click Create N Draft POs. N is the number of suppliers.
Omono creates one draft purchase order per supplier and shows Purchase Orders Created with a link to each PO- number. Open each draft in Purchasing, add a delivery that covers every line, and email, download or print it to place it on order. If Omono cannot create a supplier's draft (for example, because someone archived that supplier after you opened the report), the heading reads Purchase Orders Part Created and that supplier is listed as not created.
Drafts do not reduce the suggestions, because a draft adds nothing to On Order. The report changes once the PO is emailed, downloaded or printed. Do not raise a second set of drafts for the same items. The drafts carry the reference Stock Reorder, you as the buyer, a contact Omono picked for the supplier, and prices in the supplier's own currency. Check each one before you send it.
COSHH Register
Titled COSHH Register Report on the page. It lists every stock item with COSHH ticked, sorted by review date. No date range. Filters: Status Filter (All Entries or Overdue Review Date), Warehouse, Exclude Zero Quantity (hides items with nothing in stock) and Exclude Archived (ticked by default).
A tile shows the Total Stock Items count. Columns: Part No, Title, Warehouse, Location, Qty In Stock, Last Purchase Date (the most recent purchase order that includes the item, ignoring draft and cancelled orders) and Review Date, followed by the days overdue in red when it is in the past. See Stock items and stock types for how to mark an item as COSHH controlled.
